Ride For Recovery
My ride to the Arctic Circle to honor my brother, Verl.
Riding across America to support our loved ones
The problem of drug and alcohol abuse continues to rise with unfortunately, serious consequences that devastate families. Because this issue is personal to me on Sunday July 30th I will leave the St. Charles, Missouri area to ride through the US and into Canada with the final destination Tuktoyaktuk, and the Arctic Circle in the Yukon. This is the trip we were planning together when he died. My desire is to honor my brother and our legacy of a summer motorcycle trip each year since 2011. The ultimate goal is to raise money for the Holman Recovery Center in Arlington Washington to help people in need of drug and substance abuse treatment.
